In case you’re wondering what to do over the Rio winter break…perhaps you’d like to join the Taste of Rio 2011 Team!
It will keep you in touch with a fun family of friends and as busy as you want to be. There are tasks to suit all personalities and expertise and you don’t have to commit anymore time than you want to. You might be interested to talk with potential restaurants and suppliers for the event, start designing some of the promotional materials, meet with potential sponsors and companies that can provide exciting raffle prizes from weekends away to jewelry to beauty services..., you could work on the computer putting together planning spreadsheets, analyzing quotes, determining timelines, or even creating the website, or perhaps you have a flair for interior design and could help with decorations for the event. We are also looking for photographers, videographers and creative writers to visit our charities and put together a presentation that we can show on the evening. And of course, if Portuguese is your first language, (or you are just good at it) we need your help translating materials or help when visiting clients. I'm sure everyone can find something that interests them and fits their time schedule and everybody's contribution is hugely appreciated!
We have now created separate committees for the various activities. Take a look and see if one interests you!
1. Restaurants - meet with Rio’s fabulous restaurants, confirm menus and participation at the event
